Feeling a hell of a lot better than last night right now, I'll tell you that much— the general stressors of my daily life aren't exactly gone or anything, but at the very least one of my problems is solved because I got enough money together to at least cover the last 220 dollars or so of my tuition. Now, I did get screwed out of the remainder of that money, but... there's no use crying over spilled milk, and it's going to go towards the debt on the house anyway.

I was feeling SUPER ranty last night, so I apologize for the shortness of this entry. I want to MAYBE work on OCs in the next day or so? My plans are often nebulous and hard to fulfill though, so we'll see how that pans out. I have a Flames game to attend tomorrow, which I'm super excited for as always; hockey is super fun for me and not only do I love the sport itself but I love actually getting out of the house, having something to be a fan of that isn't just "media consumption" in the strictest sense, having something to look forward to, all of that. The analytical side of the sport is also super interesting, too, and it's always fun to hear people bet against your team and then lose their marbles when we win. Most times I've gone to the games I've been sat beside fans of the opposite team, which is always pretty funny; the seats to my right aren't seasons' tickets seats like mine, so there's a rotating cast of characters to meet there. The most fascinating was probably the Oilers fans who came to the Flames game versus the Capitals and then proceeded to boo every time the Flames got a goal, or a cheer, or literally anything; one was this kid, maybe 13 or 14, and he was there with his father. ...They both left early when they realized the Capitals weren't going to win. Pretty funny, honestly. Both a little annoying, but nothing compared to the Canucks fans next to me on New Years' Eve... *shudders* who, among other things, smashed a full can of beer against a seat and got it all over this poor woman in the row ahead of us.

Saturday... well, Saturday I plan on going out for breakfast, but that's Saturday's news. I don't know what I'm doing Sunday, but Monday I have to go back to university. I kind of miss when it was online, honestly, but that's a story for next time. Or the time after. Any point in the nebulous future, to be honest. ...Well, that's my time for now. Hope you're having a nice day!

That every story here — beyond football, even — is one of trying to save or pardon the killing thing you love in spite of itself — even if, or when it turns on you. Even when it is, inescapably a part of you.
When that thing is you.
