2023 GAMES

This was a really, really good game, but I can't even remember it! It was in the middle of my depressive episode! I think I wrote about it on my blog, though?

Former Flames star Gaudreau returns from a self-imposed exile to Ohio, completely misses a penalty shot, and is booed relentlessly. Fun to rib on him, but I still like the guy. Wish you were here!

Yikes. Yeah. That's all I've got.

I actually bought these tickets myself for around... 200 CAD? Section 104, a huge change from 210; even if we didn't win, I think Detroit's a fine team (don't tell my dad) and the view was novel.

YEAH BABY! An overtime win revenge for that disappointing overtime loss just a week prior, and a damn good game to boot! Well done, Backlund! :D

My first thought was, "Damn, there sure are a lot of Leafs fans in Calgary, what the hell?" — and then I learned coming here was cheaper than seeing the Leafs in Toronto. Ah.

Great game! Senators seemed pretty tired, maybe on account of the spring forward. Had a good rum and coke pre-game. Let's keep turning this ship around for a last ditch effort at a playoffs push.

"Close one", but an incredibly sleepy game. Seriously, extremely slow, which in turn unfortunately made it pretty boring — they actually started playing with 2 minutes left, but it wasn't enough.

Now this was a fun game — the Fan Appreciation game! Got lots of free snacks on the concourse, some autographs from the Wranglers, and the game was pretty good too, though I don't think it should be this stressful vs. an eliminated team.

Ooohoo... a fourth-straight win in a row for the first time this season, keeping playoffs hopes alive! :) In a funny universe, the Flames would win the whole cup, but even just getting in would be nice.

You know what? Even if we didn't make it, this was a great game. Wolf was awesome, Zadorov's first career hat trick (and a natural to boot) was incredible, and I got to sit in the club section. Missed an autographed shirt by a split second to the guys behind me, though. Ugh. Better luck next year!
